Acid reflux and head pain?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I have had acid reflux for a while now. I was diagnosed about 3 years back but have never been great at taking precautions. I would have short periods of reflux. Would generally last for not more than a couple days or a week at most. Recently, I started getting these symptoms again and have not gone - for about a month and a half now.

I get a lump sensation in my throat and feel weird while swallowing. Its effects are felt on the left side more than the right - even to the back of my neck and sometimes a little above the neck - on the head. Feels like a pressure.

I am on ranitidine in the nights, I used to take Nexium before and that would sort the issue out almost immediately. Not anymore. I have been trying to follow a GERD diet but no improvement is seen. I got an endoscopy done last week and waiting for the biopsy results but the initial reaction of the doctor was that things don't look that bad inside.

Anybody going through a similar situation and wants to pitch in? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just posted my success with taking water kefir. Have a read and let me know if this is something you would be interested in trying. It’s natural and easy to make and it’s transformed my life!
