My tummy felt like its been kicked during the night... Every night... I cant have a night sleep without any pain in always up most of the night either on loo or on sofa.. The doctors keep fobbing me off.. I'm soo tired I can't carry on like this... As i have other health problems too.. Has anyone else had this and if so any advice please?? Thankyou for reading 😊

Yes I have jina. You need referring to an upper GI specialist

Your gp can do nothing but prescribe ppi meds. You need to see a consultant to see just how bad your gerd/reflux is

    Hope this helps

Hi Jina I know exactly how you are feeling .

I have acid reflux and ibs. I'm on esomprazole 60 mg and 300 ranitidine. And I take

    Gaviscon throughout the day.

I also have ibs and I've had scans and tests but I'm just told its ibs. I was prescribe last

Year from my consultant questran light I

Take this once a day and its made a huge

    Difference to my ibs.

I could not get off the toilet before and

Traveling was a nightmare.i would suffer

    From extreme stomach cramps and

Diarrhea. I did not want to leave the house it was that bad.

    Ask to see a specialist.

    I hope this helps

Summer that's interesting. I went to see my go last week as I was feeling so I'll and I ended up walking out of the surgery feeling no better and no solution to my problem. 7 days later today I returned to see her again and this time because of having a hot tongue and mouth she has given me alternative pills to the Lanso... I have been taking. But just like you I have been told I have AR but they cannot tell me why. The endoscopy I had just showed my stomach was inflamed but I am not convinced I have an hernia and they have just not found it.

Since having this problem I have discovered that they just want to give you pills rather than find the cause of the problem.

      Hi Summer

Thanks for advice I've asked for a,referral to see a specialist but the doctor keeps fobbing me off with pills that make it worse... My doctor even prescribed me Imodium...But you cant take that for more than 3 days I don't think...😐

Hi Jina...sounds like you may need to try another GP, if that's possible...I'm not one to advocate doctor hopping, but if your present GP isn't helping/listening/referring you, then maybe ask some friends/others locally for some suggestions of another good GP ??    Bron

Hi yes I used to take Imodium every

      Other day . I now take a packet ( u

Make it up into a drink) every day and

I only go to empty my bowels once a

Day instead of constantly been on

The toilet all day and night.

I still take medication for my acid

Reflux. I suffered with IBS for over

20 years of it controlling my life.

      Maybe worth reasearching

      Questran light online.

Lots of people with IBS have left

      Positive reviews online.

      Good luck
