Acid reflux, burping , constant runny nose

Around 3 months ago out of the blue I suffered severe acid reflux and burping. Already on 20mg Omeprazole for last 15 years for globus. Doctor advised to double omeprazole and take gaviscon when needed for next 2 weeks and an hpylori test. Test came back negative and acid no better. Telephoned doctors and another doctor asked if I had come off omeprazole for hpylori test, which I had not. 2 weeks off and a further hpylori test which came back negative. l Still have acid, have raised my bed with books, for the last month so have constant clear dripping nose. Have an appointment in a month with the doctor who I presume will send me for tests. Worried sick now as I am getting no better, can feel acid in stomach swishing around but not have the bitter taste in the mouth as much. The dripping nose is driving me crazy. Anyone else had these symptoms.
