acid reflux/tonsilitis?

so backstory, ive been having a sore throat for around 18 months, had tonsilitis 6 times in the past year, 5/6 its been bacterial so i took antibiotics, but its so hard to tell if its tonsilitis or acid reflux, they wont do any tests, gave me ppi´s but it didnt help, tried gaviscon, eating small meals, no acid foods, no lying down 3 hours after eating, nothing helps, so wondering if its not acid reflux. anyone else had similiarissues? only symtoms are sore throat constantly and feeling of pghlegm in throat.
