Acoustic Neuroma?

Alright, so for the past 4 months I have been dealing with on and off dizzines (not world spinning more like just my brain is moving its odd), tinnitus, lightheaded, eye floaters, weird vision (kind of blurry and off), depersonalization feelings, I've tried balance tests with my eyes closed and fail at only some. I've went to the doctors and he told me I have labyrinthitis and gave me antibiotics that didn't work. My anxiety has been crazy off and on. Normally what gets me is the DP, it's the most terrifying thing I have ever felt with. I went to the ENT and he told me that is not lab which makes me even more nervous now. I have a hearing test scheduled for Monday. (I have muffled hearing in my left ear along with the tinnitus). The doc did some kind of hearing test while I was there with a metal fork looking thing that makes a semi high pitched ring and for some reason my left ear (the bad one) I am freaking out that I may have acoustic neuroma. I've had two cat scans that both came back good, and still waiting for my insurance to approve my mri. Can anyone give me any advice? I have all symptoms except for Faison numbness. It's scaring me horribly and naturally is making my amxiety which makes depersonalization worse. It's a never ending cycle that I'm trying to break. The only thing that helps is ativan and sometimes just thinking about taking that gives me anxiety.

I Have finally been sort of diagnosed, was shown mri scan with image which looks like acoustic neuroma and have to see Skull Base team in 2 weeks time.

This started with SSHL in left ear ,so totally deaf in that ear, right ear down to less than half of capability..

Had scans, 1 with contrast dye and paradoxically it's my better ear that has the "thing"

Researching the internet, I find that I could lose what hearing I have if this is treated, so that is quite scary.

Has anyone else experienced this combination ,would appreciate info, good. or bad as I need to be savvy when I see skull base people, thanks

My tumour is on my balance nerve, right side and I am almost totally deaf in that ear. I have had radiotherapy but it will be a couple of months more before I know if it has had any effect. My hearing has got worse since the treatment, but it would have got worse as the tumour grows anyway. I had my ear syringed 2years before because I thought it was wax but it was a long time before I could convince anyone I needed an MRI scan.

I have not been able to take my test yet. They had to reschedule it for the 28th. I still have alot of hearing in my ear. What other symptoms have you seen from this horrible problem?

Strangely enough, no other symptoms yet, this was found accidentally, when other ear was being scanned, and I put the increasing deafness down to old age.
