I have many health problems but I seem to have two of the rarest deceases in Acoustic Neuroma (begine brain tumour) and sarcoidosis and I fined it hard to cope with them I also have Lumbar Disc Decease,CFS, Asthma and I had to retire through my illl health at 56.

To look at the list you think that I picked them off the internet, but belive me I didnt is there anyone out there who has them or am I just unlucky. I have CT scans, MRI scans, lung tests, 22 pills a day, I have a wheelchair, mobility scooter, and everything else that my OT can get me just to lead somekind of normal life.

If anyone reads this and has the same problems it would be nice to know or am I the only one in the country.

I too have ben diagnosed with a brain tumour but mine is on the balance nerve not my hearing nerve. 2and a half years ago I started to go deaf in one ear, but the tumour was only diagnosed a couple of months ago. Interestingly, although it is the size of a peach stone, my balance loss is minimal. I have a pressure in my head constantly like I am wearing a hat that is too tight and some numbness in my face. I pratice balance exercises every day as I firmly believe keeping in use it or loose it. I am way to scared to have the op to remove the tumour, but I am scheduled for radiotherapy in January. I have arthrits and I fractured a vertebrae 10 years ago, but I still go to the gym 3times a week. It gives me a sense of purpose and achievement. Do what you can and with realistic aims, you can be satisfied with your life. I am 60 in a few weeks.
