Acupuncture to heal Bartolins Cyst

Hello!

I've read many posts on here and I would really like to share something that worked for me. In hopes that someone else will be able to benefit too.

The surgical options that accompany a bartholins cyst really concern me so I searched out a less invasive therapy.

I tried acupuncture. I went to a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).

So after the first session my BC reduced in half, and was completely gone after 3 sessions. I was amazed and oh so happy. It has been gone for a year now and she says that if I ever feel it coming on I can come and have another treatment.

I really believe in this method, I tried so many others and was thankful I found acupuncture before surgeries. I hope this is helpful , I wish you all the best of luck.

Maybe a dopey question - but did the acupuncturist insert needles into the cyst or in the area of the cyst, or did she insert them in other parts of the body that would allow for the meridian to clear and the thus help the cyst drain?

Hi Susan! Not a dopey question at all! I was worried she might have to do that too, but no! She didn't even have to take a look at it. I described my symptoms and she needeled points on and around my feet, ankles, fore arms and hands. I imagine meridians she needled on would work to help rebalance the energy flow.

I'm really glad acupuncture helped.  I am a huge believer in it because it was the only thing that relieved some other medical issues I had.

I would like to try this route. I am based in U.K. The greater London area. Are you based in U.K.? If so?Can you provide the name of your acupuncturist as even if she is not in my area she maybe able to recommend someone she knows near me. Please reply. My cysts are getting to be regular and the last one was drained 2 days ago. It's returning. Thank you.
