acute pancreatitis, chest pain

I had acute pancreatitis 5 months ago, in hospital for a week, no cause was found, but since then I have a constant ache in the chest area, its a dull pain and sometimes gets worse and travels round to the shoulder blades, the consultant and doctors are putting it down to anxiety, but I've never suffered anxiety before and have no other symptoms and it wouldnt be a continuous ache, I was just wondering if my lungs could of been damaged. Also I lost 1 1/2 stone when first took bad and cant seem to put it back on even though I'm eating normal. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

I have had constant back ache for the last year now I have this pain in left shoulder which goes between my shoulders, when I lay down I have this strange feeling on the left flank, I had Mir in March then ultrasound in April this year but nothing showed up, I have lost weight I am not eating because of the anxiety of it all. I have never been right since November 2011 when I had an inflamed pancreas..

stick to your low fat diet.  and the pain doesn't just go away I am still in pain and my attack was nearly a year ago.  keep on with pain meds and fight for answers.  There are many of us who get fobbed off and its idiopathic. helps answers are best from is who suffer. plenty of nice people with helpful advice on here including me but a lot is trail and error.

The only people who understand the pain is us suffers all the doctors think after hospital you are cured because three weeks after you leave the gp takes over primary care and they do not want to pay for you to see the consultant because it costs them. so information is never fed back so they can get a true picture of the disease.
