HI, can I ask why you are taking it in the first place? Is this for a medical condition?

Does your family or friend know about it?

So firstly I would recommend that you taper slowly and DONT do cold turkey, this is extremely dangerous and will result in painful unnecessary withdrawals.

Taper by reducing your daily intake with what your comftable with..10 mg for the first week (400 to 390) and if your ok with that do the same again the following week, if you experience withdrawals then lower the dose to 5mg.

Slow and steady is the key.

If you experience insomnia or any other side effects then I would suggest you keep your mind occupied, go for a long walk before bed, hot baths with magnesium salts and lavender oil, relaxing music...

Keep hydrated drinking 2-3 Lts water daily, eat a healthy diet, take magnesium, b12, calcium, vit d3, these will all help with Restless leg syndrome and post acute withdrawal syndrome.

Let me know how you get on, I wish you luck and we're all here to help and support in any way we can😊
