I'm on 20mg now 5 weeks in. I took buspar at the start, but it made me feel awful so I stopped taking it. Last time I was on fluoxetine Dr gave me valium to go with it and I'd no side effects. Anxiety is still not great in the mornings, and apetite isn't great, but I'm hanging on with it as it worked great last time.

Did you take busbar with or without prozac? I'm thinking of adding it, don't think valium would be ok, I work and wonder if it would make me too sleepy, hope all is well with you! 😊

I took it along with Fluoxetine but perhaps in the early days it was the Flu making me feel worse, but because I'd no side effects last time I assumed it was the Buspar. I also worked when I took valium, and I didn't feel too sleepy. Just a bit groggy in the mornings. How long have you been on Prozac? No harm in trying the buspar it might work for you.

Are you eating ok? I find I'm not as anxious if I eat. I know you might have to force yourself, but I was researching, and seratonin is made in your gut so perhaps it works better if you have food to help the process. I also find white noise helps with sleeping at night, and walking helps regulate palpitations if you have them.
