Was admitted to hospital again last Friday. The 3rd time 2half months. Went in with chest pain to the left side of chest and to the back. But most worryingly I had to me a big dizzy spell whilst I was driving. That being said scared me.
Had an ECG and some blood took . Heart rate was on the low side 43 beats/min.
Moved onto the AMU WARD.
Was then visited by the ward consultant. Explained what happened and was told that I have unstable angina or ischema heart disease(posh word for angina). Great I now have a diagnosis.
Was then visited by a cardiologist who then said I can go home as there is nothing wrong with me or my heart. If I get any chest pain I am to see my GP for pain management.
gone back to work had some bouts of chest pain and feeling alot more tired . Used my gtn spray which did help.
Just so Fed up with the hospital.

Dear Jared if your heart rate was very low in the forties be careful about your blood pressure dropping with your nitro spray I had my blood pressure drop a couple of times and went unconscious very very scary I also have prinzmetal's angina I'm not sure if that's what you have but that's coronary artery spasms you said something about ischemia I think the symptoms are the same just wanted to say that bradycardia or low heart rate can make you bottom out blood pressure wise with Nitro or the spray I'm so sorry you have to have this ugly condition I've had it for 5 years it is a little better than it was at the beginning when I was taking 9 Nitros a day and a lot of heart medicine anxiety meds to as it makes you have a lot of anxiety

I had same problem before and after the MI [[ cardiac arrest ] revived 3x with angioplasty but still comotose daily on ingestion when relaxed .They [ Specialists said I was lucky & that still nothing is wrong ??!! I suspect heart failure weak pumping A fib .At thetime I realised symptons could be heart so had acupuncture all year later as a guinea pig for students [ to reduce cost] .Last year 10 yrs later pulmonary hypertension showed itself on the implantation of a Reveal cardiac device I believe because I keep a careful eye on matters I am still here but NHS hates me & all those suffering from the chronic multi conditions I resent paying the cost & the unnecessary unreasonable inappropriate time wasting to do this .
Medicine should centre round patient orientated research not prioritising via criteria & dubious statistics .I have not been able to access many procedures becase the anaethetists & insurance companies bwon't take the risk, having to have investigations & treatments [ not cardiac] abroad.
My late Mother had severe multi infart dementia diagnosed too late so am ever alert having seen how devastating that is as possibly genetic .
