Adrenal/Paleo diet advice.

So i'm basically unable to lose any weight despite working out hard and watching my Calories...... and like so many i believe the problem is that i take Hydrocortisone daily......
So i'm hoping someone with a similar situation might be able to give me some advice as i'm about to order a weeks worth of shopping and have no clue where to begin.
I'm not planning on going full paleo as i think it would be near impossible when i work out and lift heavy to have any energy for it.
So suggestions would be great on how to replace some favourites and also how to eat enough to keep me full and also on a budget.... roughly £30 for one person.
I love tea ( black tea, dash of milk and one sugar)
i have a bit of a sweet tooth for snacking on usually when drinking tea.
Dinners/meals i'm not too fussy about, i will eat anything.
working out heavy 3-4 times a week how to get that energy before it.
electrolyte drinks for energy maybe.
Now i'm in two minds whether to go no grains. no dairy at all or still keep a little grains and dairy.
I do admit i always had potatoes with dinner and ate lots of wholegrain bread, pasta etc.... so even if i cut back to just rice for with meals that would be a major cutback and still leave me some carbs for energy and workouts.
Dairy wise.... coleslaw,cheese,milk,chocolate..... so if i cut back to just a dash of milk with tea and the odd yoghurt... then it would also be a major cutback.
Then again it wouldn't be a paleo diet then even with those major restroctions so yeah anyone with a similar situation and how they got through it would be great.
