Hi daysi, I don't know who else had that same op. I'm sure you read up on some of us and we all had different surgeries. I had the Kenalog Protocol from Columbia Presbyterian hospital in NYC. Dr. Feingold treated my AF by cauterizing and injecting Kenalog to help it heal. The advancement flap is for Fistula? My surgeon did check for Fistula on the same day. No Fistula. Its ve 5 weeks closing in 6 weeks since surgery. I have pain If I eat tomatoes with seeds. So I stay far away from that. Keep my anus as clean as possible with shower sprayer attached to my sink and sitz bath. Pain meds when I need them. Meds not as often as before. Took about 4 weeks for the BM to get better. My heart truly goes out to everyone here because It drives us all to the point of insanity. As for me having that area and lots of prayer does help. We are only human after all anyone in pain like this has to take bold steps and have faith that we will get treated and not go through life in such torment. I hope I can encourage you that you will get better. Anything I share is for anyone here to benefit. I like helping as much as getting help. God Bless and prayers for you.
