When they said to me they were going to fit the coil they said it would be quick even though they say I've got a tilted womb (who knew)and its more difficult to get to.
I send you my prayers and what's left of my positivity.
Please let me know how you get on .........Heather xx

hi kerry. when are you scheduled to have it done? i will keep you in my prayers for it to go smooth for you.
i cant remember if i was talking to you or someone else about getting a hysterectomy instead. was that an option?

yea. i kinda got the same message. he told me that he didn't think my lining was abnormally thick for my age/in peri. he never did give me the measurement. but, i do trust him as he is an experienced gyn. the reason i was there was from spotting after sex one time. (pap was normal) he said i could do the coil, pills or nothing, but recommended the coil. so i asked him if i didn't do anything, how would i know if there was a problem or if it was getting thick and he said i would continue to have abnormal bleeding. of course since then, my periods have been normal. so, i guess for now i'll just wait and talk to him again at my next check up. He said a hysterectomy would be considered extreme at this point. i really wanted to try to go through this without any hormones

the thing is periods will make your lining thicker its after menopause its a problem so your ok until you reach that stage so dont worry 😃
