I'm.now having twitches with the weakness and numbness and I feel like I'm loosing my hearing. all the doctors have done have checked my reflexes. and they were brisk. I feel dizzy and I feel faint and feel like I vibrating or something. would it be stupid to ask. I've seen a neurologist who checked my reflexes aswell and that's all she done. what should I say to my doctor. pls help

you can ask your doctor to order any tests that you want. Your doctor may not think it’s necessary but you can still try.
One thing about severe anxiety, which includes myself, is that people who have it tend to either not trust the testing or want further testing and are never truly at peace with the normal results. that can become a vicious cycle leaving people to feel miserable. that’s when I decided to get virtual counseling which has been very helpful.
I learned that at some point we have to trust the testing which is very reliable. And also to trust the doctors who know what they are looking for.
then work on managing the health anxiety. keep in mind that severe health anxiety can definitely cause hundreds of different sensations that can feel very scary.
and the more we embrace the health anxiety, the worse we will feel. at some point if what we are doing isn’t working it’s important to take a different route. For me that was counseling with CBT. I’m still working on it but I do feel better. Take care of yourself ❤

So you can ask for nerve tests but i had mine done two weeks ago for same reason we seem to share mirror symptoms.
The neurologist doing the test was very good but he stressed this tests only ever shows peripheral nerve damage and neuropothy not nerve damage caused by central nervous system damage (brain neck spine).
Results came back fine and no new answers and any more informed.
I never once doubted the neurologist my god he was through and also had his senior sit in because i am pregnant.
Have you had MRIs , Lumbar puncture and or blood tests.
