Advice for 5mg

Hi

Has anyone got any advice on weening off 5mg? I plan to do it within a few months as I have gone from 20mg a few years ago n slowly reduced.

    I weaned off 5mg some years ago (after reducing from 20, 15, 10). My last 5mg I couldn't cut any smaller so I crushed it and took half the powder (2.5mg) each day and stayed on that dose for about 6 weeks. Following that I took 1.25mg for another 6 weeks, and then 1.25mg every other day for a couple of weeks then every 3 days etc etc until I was on 1.25mg once a week. Then I stopped.

    Long and drawn out but it meant I didn't have any withdrawal effects.

    You won't obviously get an even amount of powder each day, but what you take one day then the next day will make up for it.
