Hi all.

I really need some advice. This is my 2nd time on sertraline and I started straight on 100mg did this for about 3months and defo felt better (after the side effects had gone! Lol) I then had my dosages upped to 150mg as going through alot of change in my personal life (new job and moving house) however I feel so low still, like back before I went back on them!

Have i given the 150mg enough time to kick in?

Do i need a higher dose to get me through this tough time?

I'm finding it hard to rationalise things as my anxiety is sky high. I can't really get into a doctors as I don't have one yet because of moving!

Please help xxxxx

I wouldnt go higher than 150mg personally but thats because I havent recieved a proper diagnosis. How long have you been at 150mg? I have been on 100mg for about 3 weeks and I am still having a tough time in the mornings but feel fine by the evenings. give it some time.

HI i do not want to be a party pooper but i do not think it is the medication that is making you feel so low i think its the changes in your life and they were a big step what you did, and if your anxiety is so high there must be a reason for it , something is really bothering you, something deep rooted, and beig on such a high dose is really making your head fussy like what joe said i think you should lower it x

How bad were the side effects going straight into the 100mg?
