I have suffered with migranes for 20plus years. 2years ago though I recieved a massive blow to my head - I received a glass light smashed to the top of my head!!!!!. This aching body and what I can only decscibe what feels like a pulled muscle in my neck ais a Dailey thing now to the point I get constant migranes I'm on medication for my migranes by the way. I have seen a doctor but she didn't think what I have is Fibro? I hope I have explained ok? I'm writing this from an iPad and some parts it goes blank so I carnt see !!. What I want is does anyone think it could be Fibro? Maybe not !. Or can anyone relate to me what I maybe experiiencing? Hugs to u all.xx

Hi Michelle05502 Cant say either way whether its fibro or not. Fibro is all about excrusiating pain all over the body where you are in so much pain. That you want to scream your head off, and where you are in floods of tears. along with the pain you have many other symptoms like headaches acheing blured vision stiffness fatique anxiety depression earache sore throat memory problems breathlessness, cant stand loud noises smells irritate you. what your experiencing could be from the blow to the head you had. If it is fibro then you would be experiencing other symptoms other than just pain.It took me 10 years to get a diagnoses for fibro. and that was after seeing many specialists and having loads of tests done. drs like to rule out other conditions before refering you to see a rheumatologist its they who diagnose fibro. take care

I started off with pins and needles around my stomach area . It then moved down to my ankles then arms. It is now all over plus I had shoulder surgery a month  ago. This morning I woke up with terrible cramp in my left leg. I have had Fibromyalgia for 8 years now and am a single mother with two hormonal sons of 15 and 12 ,!!! Half term has been quite exhausting and challenging!

Have you been seen by a rhuematologist? They can confirm whether you have Fibro or not.

Although what you are describing sounds similar to the pains I have had for over 20yrs......only was diagnosed with Fibro Aug 2014.  It's best to get confirmation first.  Get all the necessary blood tests done to rule out any other possible sypmtoms.

I have been trying herbal remedies which have helped in some way but still under-going the treatment.

Hope you get the answers you need to help with your pains.  Take care and sending you gentle hugs from ME to YOU !! wink

    Hi Michelle

I have suffered with migraine sickness since my teens and I am now in my late 40s and recently ended up in hospital with a bad case of it and I have had to stop taking meds that I take for them..

My fibro started in my hands and traveled up then from my feet up, I to can only describe how my body feels most of the time as like I have been for a good workout, limbs feel heavy and weak and painful to move. I have been told that this is down to muscle fatigue

    hi Michelle.

i don't know about the migraines but your other symptoms do sound like Fybro. Ask your GP to refer to a rheumatologist. They will give you a confirmed diagnosis.  Hope this helps. Sending a hug.  Vikki xxx
