Hey 😊 I take Vitamin D supplements, I am vitamin D deficient, I only found that out last week and my GP prescribed me the tablets but apparently it's common for people with CFS/ME to be deficient in vitamin D so it could be worth getting tested for that. Vitamin D helps with the aches and pains and also with the foggy head.

Holland and Barrett will sell good herbal supplements 😊 Have a chat to your GP and see what they recommend x

I saw a specialist for awhile. He came recommended by Dr Titellbaum, he wrote From Fatigue to Fantastic afew years ago. I couldn't read the book cause of my brain fog but I called his office and he recommended a doc closer to me. The book is about vitamins and how they help ME/CFIDS.

The doc I saw put me on vit C, vit E, Seleium, CoQ10 and a multi vit. Since I was so sick he had take one at a time for a few days then add one for a few days and then another. I started with vit C. I also now take vit D with calicum and magnesium. I know its helping me because if I run out for a few days I go into an episode.

    Hope this helps

I find Evening Primrose Oil helps with the sore, stiff muscles. I take the high strength ones, 1000mg. The instructions say one a day, but I take one in the morning and one in the evening. My doctor started me on them, and even though he can't pprescribe them any more (cut-backs, rules and regulations!) I get them over the counter.

Hi Russ, I take the following, Vit B12, calcium with Vit D, magnesium, Co enzyme Q10, omega 3 fish oil and the one I think really helps is D ribose. All from Holland and Barrett. All quite expensive but as I don't smoke and can't drink caffeine or alcohol I choose to spend my money this way. Also try to eat healthily I'm sure you know that.

Hi, I take vitamin d drops, vitamin b complex, flax seed oil, vitamin c every day. If I have been in contact with someone with a cold I will double my vitamin c dose for a few days and have echinacea and I haven't had a cold for a couple of years now which is unheard of for me. I also drink apple cider vinegar (a table spoon) in hot water twice a day. I have just started taking a green suppliment, a fruit and veg extract in a powder that you mix with water and seem to have a little more energy. I do notice the difference if I forget to take my daily tablet and potions!
