Advice on possible mild acute pancreatitis-high lipase

Posted , 2 users are following.

I had a bout of what I still think is mild acute pancreatitis. I managed at home for a few days until I went in. About 5 days after attack lipase was 440 (with top end at this lab of 84). Ultrasound 6 days after showed possible small cholesterol polyps in gallbladder and nothing else to speak of. MRCP was ordered and finally performed 10 days past possible attack and now feeling mostly normal. Was advised to introduce foods back into diet versus bland. So far so good...taking it slow. I just wonder why nothing was found? Anyone have a similar situation? Is it possible I passed a small stone? I’ve had some IBS type of digestive issues as well as almost chronic heartburn so I was kind of hoping for a reason/solution. Thanks!
