hi all 😃 been on sertraline for over a year now. everything is fine 😃 feeling like my normal self most of the time. I'm in 75 mg.. and I also take 40 mg of propranolol twice a day. I take my sertraline around 6pm give or take 10mins hear or their. so I took my 75 last night at 6pm. got up for work at 5 this morning came downstairs and instead of taking my propranolol I took 75 mg of sertraline buy accident. then once I swallowed I realised. so what should I do? take my next dose as normal tonight at 6. or skip it and wait again until tomorrow night? now having took the extra dose this morning I dont feel any diffrent tbh. maby a little more spaced out but nothing major..

i would just take your normal dose at 6 or before you go to bed since you took it so early, but call your doctor and ask! thats the best thing to do. they know how all the drugs interact with one another

Hi I did that once was advised to wait until the next day for your next dose. Tell you worse, I was taking 150mg, like that I took mine, later in the day, I had a headache, so took panadol, as I thought, I had taken 200mg of antidepressant!!! nearly had a heart attack never mind visions of overdosing!! Again rang GP who told me skip a day & it would level off... will never happen again I got such a fright, bet you wont either after this. keep well.

How come you're still taking propanalol? would have thought the sertraline would have eliminated the need for it?
