Advice please on Evorel Conti

Hello everyone, pleased to be here. I am 55, post meno 4yrs and started trialing hrt last November. I dealt with a meno specialist and she recommended Evorel Conti for me and I started on half a patch and should have worked my way up to a whole patch by now but have been on 3/4 for a couple of months.
I have other issues going on, ie. gut candida and gut dysbiosis which cause anxiety and depression, I also have an under active thyroid and have Hashimotos.
Since my body crashed with very severe anxiety and depression in September 2015 I have been trying to fight my way back.
My anxiety is very severe every day and my problem is that I don't know whether the hrt is making things worse or whether it's the symptoms from the gut issues I have. I can't say I have felt worse on the hrt and the flushes I was getting most evenings have disappeared.
I have been working with a nutritionist to help get my gut right but have had to find a new one whom I spoke with the other day. She seemed quite concerned at my being on hrt as she sees a lot of women saying hrt makes their anxiety worse.
I don't know what to do to be honest. I think I should retest to see what my levels currently are as it has been nearly 5 months but instead of going up to a whole patch I have titrated back down to half.
I am at a loss as to what to do. Can anyone advise please, thank you xx

I started Evorel Conti last September. Started with whole patch then cut a qtr off as I felt it was too much. But I have felt so much better since starting the patches. Less anxiety. I am now back on a whole patch and apart from weight gain I'm glad I chose the hrt patches. Skin and hair so much better. More confidence.
I take passionflower and magnesium in the evening for mild stress and anxiety and they help me sleep. Read up on passionflower, It may help you.
Best wishes, keep in touch x

Evorel conti is combined continuous hrt. The one I use is anyway. I wasn't aware of any other.

Sorry, don't know what I was thinking! I actually was on the evorel conti for three months, but it wasn't a high enough dosage and that's when all my symptoms hit me. The GP can't work out, because of the different method of dosage, which level would be equivalent to the elleste duet 2mg/1mg conti oral.
