Advice with eating more (quite underweight)

I am 16 years old, and for about 4-6 years I have been underweight, and the past year I have tried to regain my lost weight. The main reason why I am underweight, is because when I was younger I skipped out on breakfast or lunch. Right now, I think my brain is like 'Passive Anorexic' if that's even a thing.. I want to eat more but, whatever tells me to eat is telling me not to. I know my sleeping pattern is also an issue with me being underweight, it's a struggle trying to fix that to a good time where I can get up early enough to have breakfast. I don't know how much I currently weigh, I'm going to guess about 7.3 or so. I should also add that I do want to exercise, but because I don't eat enough, I don't have the energy to. Can someone please give me some advice on this? (I don't want to be put on medication if that'd be an option)

Sorry to hear you're struggling with this. It sounds like your body has got used to the routine of not eating at times and that now you feel a sense of not feeling hungry, if I got that right.? I feel Small steps are needed for you to get to where you want to be. If you are better drinking things than eating, at present, I'd recommend smoothie drinks with extra vitamins. The b vitamin group is said to be useful for tiredness and fatigue, this could help give you the energy to start the exercise you'd like to. Build up gradually with the drinks and eat foods that you know you like, I feel getting used to eating is your 1st step. Try to think positively around food. I know you say you need to get Into a better sleep routine but, thats another challenge. Breakfast is the first meal of the day, what ever time that is so, if you feel like it, you could prepare the night before what you will eat the next day. Again, if eating isn't the feeling you have when you wake up, go for smoothie/yoghurt/milk or a substitute. I had a friend with a similar Issue years ago and they struggled too but could snack on biscuits and sugery things. If you're similar with this, add other items that are better for you in adding some extra weight and nutrition.
Hope this helps
