Yes unfortunately. I just hit 3 weeks yesterday and yesterday was still crappy but the first 'good' day I've had. Today has been okay. First day I didn't wake up with complete dread. I'm pretty anxious again today but feeling a little more focused and not foggy today.

I've only been on it 3 weeks. I've had basically every side effect. Increased anxiety depression intrusive thoughts etc. A lot of that is finally starting to lift but still have no appetite. My NP upped me way too fast though so I'm not sure if that's all normal.

Hi Jennifer , it's awful I know but this med takes time to full settle in your system I've been on it since nov 2015 on 50 mg then upped to 100 mg Jan 2016 till now I can tell you I still have this dark spot in my mind , to be honest it did something better in my life but not yet as normal as I was before all that mess that happened to me .

It's my very first time taking anti depressants in my life due to sudden health anixity but it was all in my mind and I'm ok .

But still can't be mentality normal yet . I have 4 kids different ages needs all my care . Stick to it hope for the best of it .

As you know this med acts differently for all of us but I can say this is normal and you will feel better but give it time to kick in .

I agree with Dodo. It is normal for a few weeks. After all it is altering chemicals in your brain. It will pass.

It took me several months to start feeling better. I'm sure it can go well earlier, but don't worry too much. Give it time. wink
