Advised to change from Cit on a Pm to AM any advice??

Hiya
Been on 20mg cit for just over 7 weeks and had every side effect under the sun!
Went to see my GP yesterday for a routine checkup etc.. and she advised me that I shouldn't still be feeling grotty but be more on a level. In fact she said if I hadn't been going on holiday she would start to wean me off them and try something else. To be honest I don't want to go through anything like that again. So she suggested moving my cit from taking it on an evening to a morning to see if this changes.
Any thoughts on this guys? Anyone seen an improvement taking at different times etc...
Thanks in advance

I feel your pain. My GP also is giving me a few more weeks then wants to wean me off and start something else. My issue is the ongoing insomnia. Most nights I get 2-3 hours or nothing at all. I tried evenings but it just made it worse but plenty of folk seem to do absolutely fine in the evenings, it's an individual thing. I really don't want to try something else for the same reason as you, now that the Cit is making me feel so much better I can't bear to go backwards. I'm going on holiday in August so despite her wanting me to change I'm going to make her give me another month as I don't want to suffer side effects during this time. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that the sleep comes back.

It's funny because when I take my meds on a night, I feel great no anxiety, sleep well, no nausea etc.. But still feel like death ona morning. So I've taken one this morning at 8.30 and I still feel rubbish, so it makes me think that the morning thing is my anxiety playing tricks on me gggrrr!
I'm finding this week tough. Although I was surprised about my DR saying to change me, 7 weeks is not long really is it??

This week is the first week I have experienced no morning anxiety, it's been a long time coming. So hopefully within the next week or so you'll be the same.

I take my Cit in the morning, but actually used to take it at night. I found the side effects to be worse when I took it in the evening, such as no sleep, more anxiety, etc. I think that taking it in the morning has really helped me, even though I do still get the morning anxiety but that is just my mind playing tricks on me! It does make me a little sleepy, but I would rather be tired at work then not be able to sleep at night at all. Let us know how it goes!
Oh, and P.S. I initially started on Sertraline, and not to scare you but I had worse side effects on that medication. Obviously every SSRI is going to be different for everyone, but that is just my experience. I could not eat, sleep or calm down for the life of me on that med. Just want you to be aware!

How long have you been taking cit misdamwanor? My anxiety is rubbish on a morning - fed up!
I'm not going to come off this though to start all over again, no way so it's this or nothing lol!!
To be honest I think most of the side effects have probably gone but because I'm anxious I'm blaming the meds for making me feel I'll. realistically it's prob working for me.
I just hope I settle down today.
