Hi

I am looking for advice & information on Omega3 & VitaminE, i saw a post on the AF forum [ which i now cannot find again ], but the forum member mentioned that they had stopped taking antigogulants due to a bleed in their brain which caused a stroke, following their recovery they then decided to take Omega3 & VitaminE as a blood thinner instead. i  would like to know more about this & what doses of are needed to be effective

Should that person not beware of any blood thinners in future?

Have no idea sorry, that is not something I recall seeing n the forum, but would have thought in your particular case you need to listen carefully to tje consultants for their professional opinion as I don't imagine it w the anti coags thy caused tje initil bleed but they would have made it worse, I do wish we had doe consultants on tje forum to give opinions sometes

I take Omega 3 in fish oil for joint lubrication not as an anticoagulant. Don't intentionally take vitamin E.

I've found the most effective natural anticoagulant is beetroot juice which I take to reduce BP but found it also raised my INR so I reduced my Warfarin dose to compensate.
