afib

I had a complete heart work up 2020. Everything, the whole works and it all came out perfect. I had to have some dental work done and the dentist hooked up a heart beat machine, so he could hear my heart, because of my age 70, he thought it wise. Dental work went great but we could hear my heart start beating fast and then slow back up. Well, in 2021 I just didn't feel well went to the Urgent Care Heart rate 158...AFIB had snucked up on me. I have had the cardio done. Took Multaq 400 mg twice a day, Eliquis twice a day. Now I am going to have ablation done in a month. I was told to STOP the Multaq. If I am still having AFIB, the multaq is not doing its job and Multaq can cause some very severe things to happen to the heart. I am so confused. I have had panic attacks in the past, some very severe, does this cause afib? I'm praying that if you know anyone with panic attacks, please tell t hem to get help.
