Afraid I have an STD please HELP

Hey people.

I'm very concerned about having an STD, I haven't been sleep in the last two days because of that. Let me tell you the background; I'm 16 years old and 3 days ago I went to a party with my peers from school. We got drunk and I had oral sex with one of my classmates. I did oral sex to her and she did oral sex to me, she says she is virgin and her closest friends told me she is virgin too but I'm scared that something can happen to me. She did an oral to two of my classmates too that same night but they are close friends to me and I know they are virgin.

I just want to know that what are the chances of me getting an STD or if it's actually possible to get an STD that way.

Please help, I'm really afraid and I hope that nothing bad happens

You should be fine but be careful. STDs happen to everyone who doesnt protect themselves. Dont think it cant happen to you! Trust me, just say no or go prepared...theres always next time if you are unprepared and dont worry about what one person thinks...worry about what your parents and the doctor are going to think when youve got the funk! Some funk lasts a lifetime and its straight up NOT WORTH IT. Sex is overrated...love is underrated. Guess which one is better??? (Hint: its not the one where youre just trying to "get off")

Dr's won't think anything, they are used to seeing a vast array of illnesses and STD's. They are a pretty non judgemental bunch.

People have enough issues about visiting Dr's without negative sterotypes being reenforced as to how the Dr would perceive the patient.

To the OP - never worry about going to the Dr for anyhting related to anything especially sexually actvity related symptoms, delaying going to a Dr because of what you are worried they might think will only lead to further complications if treatment is not given where required.

STD's can be passed on easily via oral sex, so you really need to think about that and how you approach sex

Oh and heres some numbers for you to chew on. 50% of all teenagers will hae an STD by age 25, ...and 50% of all people will have one in their lifetime. 80% of them are girls who have the hpv virus, and as far as people who have HIV between the ages of 13-19 , 71% of them are males.

    Hi Andre,

With the information you have provided I would be surprised is you have picked up an  STD with all the so-called virgins you have been 'involved' with.

The issue that I have with your scenerio is that you are headed towards getting an STD by believing people who are just looking for sexual gratification.  Do you really expect someone with an STD and looking for sexual gratification to tell you the truth?  Therefore, you should always act like everyone has an STD until you really know that they are not.  Otherwise, you will be surprised some day, maybe sooner than later.  At that point you will have good reason to have some sleepless nights.  So, smarten up before you become a statistic. My best,  DL
