After a month of no growths/assesses, one appeared yesterday. stress?

Has anyone linked their breakout/s with stress? The last twice I have been under a lot of pressure, also started using deodorant again (fragrance free and hypoallergenic). I can't find any links. I thought maybe one was lucky and was going to have a longer period of unaffected time. Any advise?

Hi My HS is definately made much worse by stress.   When I was in my last job (awful place)  I got one abcess after the other.   Since I retired 5 years ago I have only had a couple of really nasty ones.   Pressure and stress certainly brings mine on.   I avoid stress like the plague now.

I don't know how to cut too much stress out of life though.   Maybe to learn some stress techniques?   Or change to a less stressful job if you can?

Exercise might help as well.   Good luck  x

Thanks for response. Im just racking my brains cos there must be a reason. Very frustrating! I've now had 7 outbreaks in less than 5 months. A few of these have meant multiple incisions being made! Flippin annoying. Lol

Mine is linked to nightshade vegetables.  Have you ate more nightshades while being stressed? Nightshades are potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, tobacco, eggplant an any spice made from a pepper.
