After Ablation how you feel Questions and comments

My ablation was Friday and it is Monday, I was able to walk slowly on a flat treadmill and groin is a little sore but no bruising or swelling. My heart rate and blood pressure seem pretty similar to before the ablation. The only thing I notice different is I get tired pretty easy. If I do something like walk, I feel like I need to lay down for a while and also I get a little lightheaded when I do activity's that increase the heart rate. Is this something a lot of you experienced and also, what kind of things did you notice in the weeks following your procedure and when did you feel completely back to normal. I also think I still have a touch of anxiety from everything I went thru.

    Hey rickper,

I hope you’re recovering well!  I haven’t had thesblation yet but getting consult this week to get it done.  Thanks for your insight and I hope to hear more about what others experienced after their ablations.  Speedy recovery!

Hi, to update I am 9 days out and I am back at the gym doing dome weights, not my normal routine but decent. My groin has healed pretty good there is some soreness and a little pea sized round lump by the punctures. My energy is getting better. As far as the heart I am getting more skips, jumps and flutter than I normally get but not by much. No sustained svt, just the one 20 second episode I had on day 4. I guess I won't really know where I am at until I do a intense workout or go out for a few beers and see how I am the day after. Those where my biggest triggers. I notice my resting heart rate is about 8 to 10 beats higher than it was prior to ablation but exercise rate is about the same.
