After an orbital fracture and damaged facial nerves my teeth feel strange

Hello- My husband was hit in the face with a softball years ago. His eye socket was fractured along with his nose. He had a bone shard shoot up and cut his dura which is the sac that holds your brain/spinal fluid in. He was on 7 weeks bed rest for all of this!

Our concern now is that he cannot seem to get any answers from a doctor or dentist... His teeth on that side of his face feel numb and tingly. Its been about 7 years since his injury. The dentist said his teeth "might" die and the doctors have said they just don't know...

Has anyone had something like this happen and experienced problems with your teeth from the nerve damage? We are looking for support or stories of what you have experienced.

Thanks!
