After care and healing of Marsupialization?

I had marsupialization done about 3 weeks ago and i feel as though all the care instructions I was given have flown over my head because I was under anesthesia when I woke up. Its been healing nicely and the pain is becoming less and less. Anyone who has had this procedure done can you tell me how long you waited until you were able to go swimming? I have a lake trip planned and I'm not sure if I am able to go in the lake with it only being around 3 weeks? Also how long does it take for the hole to go away? Ive been reading that it is permanent but doesn't that affect sex life? If anyone can answer these questions please I would appreciate it Thank you!
