After chiropractor I’m having acid reflux

I saw a chiropractor on Wednesday June 20th for pain in my ear. My left ear was experiencing so much pain and at times it felt like my ear drum would swell up and I would feel piercing pain in it. Well, she cracks me neck and after the appointment I started feeling shooting pains up and down my left arm. It went from my left arm to my right arm to both of my legs. Two days after I felt so much pain in my chest, like a tightness. For a while I thought I was having heart problems so I went to a doctor. They had told me it was acid reflux and prescribed me acid control pills on Monday the 25th of June. I didn’t start taking them until the 28th of June. They weren’t helping that much so then I went back to a different doctor and she prescribed a stronger antacid. My question is, it there something my chiropractor did that might have tieggeted this? I’ve felt acid reflux in the past, but usually it would just be a burn in my chest which I thought was lung problems. I would usually just breathe slowly and it would go away, but this has been lingering for a couple of days, which is weird.

It is absolutely possible for acid reflux to get into your ears as they are connected to your throat and sinuses.  Maybe a position or adjustment the chiro used opened a channel or moved trapped gas.  The all over pains in the arms and legs are concerning but related gas pain can do that, it can mimic a heart attack.  Make sure you do serious research on the meds you are taking.  Acid controlling pills can have serious side effects.  If you continue to have this many side effects, you may want to ask for further testing and see a gastroenterologist.

If you have acid reflux, try the apple cider vinegar (T in glass of water) cure.  IF it helps, you have reflux.  If you drink the vinegar water and the heart burning gets worse, you need to be screened for a hiatal hernia with an endoscopy or barium swallow test.

I am sorry you are struggling with these symptoms.  They can make life miserable.  Keep looking for solutions.  Sometimes the drugs doctor's push can have worse side effects and make things worse.  Study natural options and try them first.  Eating sauerkraut and bananas, (not together) can balance stomach enzymes and work wonders.  Kefer helps, also prebiotics and probiotics from Vitamin stores can work wonders just do your research and check prices online to save money.

Blessings and best prayers for healing!
