After hemorrhoidectomy, how long did everyone stay on their medicines and what kind?

hi all. It is now day nine of my hemorrhoidectomy and I still have to force myself to eat. I am mainly alternating between Tylenol and ibuprofen every four hours. i’m also taking a muscle relaxant, Methocarbon 500 MG tab three times a day every eight hours. Could that be the culprit?

I really wish someone would answer me. I am going back in on this coming Friday, March 18, to see my colon rectal specialist. My only issue right now is not having an appetite, trying to eat and get my fiber in and my BMs.. I’ve had three solid bowel movements the last three days and this morning after eating 1/2 of a pear I had diarrhea. you kinda have to play around with how much fiber to eat and such.

I am 68 years old and I know the healing process probably takes longer. I just want to know if I’m taking too much medicine and what I can do to get to feeling better. Also, is it normal for your bottom to sting/burn for 2 1/2 to 3 hours after a BM?
