After Implant Periods were normal for 4 months now they're weird?

I had my implant removed 5 months ago. I was bleeding the entire time I was on it with not a single day off for the whole 6 months+. After it was removed everything went back to normal, and I had them once per month for 5-7 days again. However now they've gone weird. I had one that lasted 2 days, then didn't get anything for about 3 weeks but yesterday randomly got a heavy one for a day and now it's gone again.

It's annoying because I can't make plans with my boyfriend, I've cancelled on him four weeks in a row because my period was due and then it came and went twice. What's going on?
