After op relief

Hi has anybody heard of ( multi gyn perineum pressure pads or used them. It says they are for relief when had a cut or fissure during childbirth etc. Was just curious as to weather they would help with healing

    I am also wondering if like an over the counter numbing type first aid spray would be ok

      Be good if others have used and all OK, but having my op on the 3 Rd Nov going to ask at hospital so will post the reaction I get steph. These are available at a leading chemist have at look at them on line see what you think 😉

      Yes I know where they can be found. Or I can ask 1st lol my op is Friday 😱 I have also purchased witch hazel and a Peri-bottle to help clean the area mixed with a little warm water. Also have some saline wound wash

      Oh yes please ask, I have got pure tea tree oil, would be great if we can use them pads or something similar. What is a Perry bottle steph, and saline wash would be sterilised so should be fine xx good luck Friday will be thinking of you let me know how you get on 😉

      Peri bottle is just a little bottle you can squeeze to wash your self. They give them to you after giving birth. Thought it would be perfect. You can use any old squeeze type bottle.

    You could ask GP for lidocaine ointment it relieves by numbing, worth a try, keep inflammation down with Brufen and frozen peas on area, less inflammation less swelling less pain, hope that helps.
