After scabies treatment, could i get them again?

So i had scabies for 2 months without knowing ,but 4 weeks ago i found out that i have them and my doctors started my treatment for scabies with pills.

it got better than it was before treatment and i think they are gone

But a week ago i was with a guy that maybe got them too, and we had sex.

when i got home after some days i got bumps on my penis so i wanted to ask if it could be that i got them again? should i get treatment again?
