after UAE

Hi I had UAE.... October 18, 2017, I know it’s early but the Pain is unbearable!! Round the clock.... these are not cramps these feel like Labor Pains!! I had never hurt This bad.... Barely eating. Abdominal sore, tender, swollen, trapped gas, groin area hurts extremely bad! I don’t think I will be better in no 7-10 days because of the horrible round the clock pain, bleeding & barely can walk or move....

    Hang in there it does get easier the first two weeks are the worst by the third week I felt ok.  I was bleeding for nearly 10 days but was better than what I used to have. Am into my firth week now and still get a little groin pain and gassy tummy but am hoping will keep improving my fibroid is in my womb x

      P.s I had no appetite and felt sick too but gets better x

    Hi Teresa, 

    I had the exact same thing. The unbearable pain lasted 7 days. I barely ate all week, lost 5 pounds, had so much constipation too.  Luckily I had help. The second week you will be much better. Big night and day difference but will be very fatigue and tired. I didn't have energy second week but by 3rd week it was so much better. Hang in there. Toughest pain and part should only be first week. Good luck. It was worth it for me and hope it will be for you too.

      I don't think you will notice the difference now but in a few months when you have an MRI or ultrasound ( I had an MRI with contrast to see it clearer) and you see the fibroids with no oxygen, dying off and shrinking is when you will have peace of mind. That's when you actually feel like it worked! It's a slow process but stay positive and confident. Get your rest and feel better soon. smile

      I have a Doctors Appointment Wednesday I will be glad when my appetite just comes back, I am also dealing with bloating & gas which makes it even more painful

      I didn’t stay Overnight I was sent home that evening on 8 kind of medications

    Hi Teresa,  Oh boy, I hope you are feeling better soon.  Keep hoping and positive thinking - it helps.  Listen to music and try to relax or find a meditation app.

    I had my period going into the procedure and less of a flow afterwards; still staining though.  For me, I have a full week behind me, and I'm up and taking short walks outdoors.  I hope that you called your doctor.  Did you have an overnight stay in the hospital or home the same day?
