I too came off Mirtazapine after being on it for 7 weeks,  so been off it about two to three weeks.

I also take Quetiapine twice a day.

But it's the early hours of the morning when I wake it all starts and takes what feels like most of the day to settle....shaking as well !!

My GP took me off Trazadone cold turkey! I'd been on it for nearly two years and put me on Mirtazapine!  In my opinion he shouldn't of done that, he should of at least tapered it.

I can tell you I never had any of this before!

Hi Karen , how are you feeling today ? Ive slept 11hrs 🙋I cant believe it. Woke up slightly anxious and with back pain cause I sleep on my tummy, but nothing compared to what I felt week ago. Im sure for now It was fluoxetine messing up with me. And now I dont think Im going crazy. I just think im withdrawing from mirtazapine.

Hi aga, omg 😲 that is wonderful! I am so pleased for you 😘

I was still the same, woke about 5ish feeling anxious, panic shaking etc.,

I'm getting really tired of it all now, this is day 11 of Escitilopram thought I'd be feeling some benefit by now if they are going to work for me?

Wish I'd never stopped taking Trazadone!

I'm so happy that you are much brighter though 😘😘

I know. 11hrs. Jesus lol it feels weird lol. And its day 5 without fluoxetine and no nasuea. Strange isnt it🤔feeling much better. I think you should see doc in morning and stop this escitalopram. You suffering too much. And SSri got tendency to make anxiety worse. Sometimes I start to think they dont work and its only placebo as we get this idea that we taking something and we believe is going to help us. Power of the mind.

I'm scared of withdrawal from Escitilopram now though!

If I had my way I'd go back onto Trazadone or even Mirtazapine, mental health nurse specialist doesn't know enough about Trazadone he said, and thinks the Escitilopram is going to better long term?!?

But then said if no better after 4 weeks would have to rethink it!!

I feel like I'm going crazy with it all, just want to be back to how I was before all this started 😢

You are not going to have withdrawl after 4 weeks of taking it. I was on SSRi for 7 years and had light withdrawl. They easier to come off than mirtazapine. Or you might be still having withdrawl from trazadone. They just started messing with your meds too much and thats why you feeling like this. Im sure of it now.

It is just the drug not you. Once it leaves your body you will recover  and revert back to the person you were before all this misery caused by these drugs.

Talking therapy is the order of the day.

I do not really understand why the mental health nurse is not encouraging ou to seek alternative NON drug treatments . Mindfulness is said to be very effective and used worldwide. Also meditation, relaxation techniques, deep breathing to re energise the brain and induce clarity of thought. Execrcise to stimulate the production of endorphins the bodys natural analgesia and anti depressants.

I do not take any anti depressants but I did for a short time many yars ago for post natal depression. My life was worsened by them due to feeling exhausted, weight gain,, was demotivated. I did not have the sense to realise that the dugs were dragging me down all the time and ruining my life.

When I finally did realise  then stopped them I  started to be my own person again.

I would never take any drugs at all , never.

Magnesiumhelps as does Vit B Co and B12 plus vitamin D .

      Keep gong, keep strong.

Hi Ann, I also feel very agitated in the morning and around 2 or 3 in the afternoon when in havent anything to do. Mine is down to boredom yet not wanting to do anything, I tend to then breakdown and sob for an hour. For me I don't think it's the meds it's just the way I am at the moment, pent up energy looking for a release, I'm hoping things will improve over the next few weeks as I've upped my Venlafaxine to the therapeutic dose.

I can relate to the ' boredom but not wanting to do anything '

It's a vicious circle though isn't it as then we tend to overthink etc

Hope the drop on Venlafaxine helps you.

Hope that does the trick, keep us uto date. I can relate to the pent up energy needing release. I think ats what fuels anxiety.  I have been told that ssris cn cause anxiety to deplete or can increase it.  For me, it increases.

Same here . Ssri made my anxiety so bad that I couldnt cope. Once I stopped , I can manage much better. Lets not let our brain bully our body😙😙😙easier said than done but we can do this. Together ???
