Alcohol????

Reading over other people experiences,I too have started having a strange reaction to alcohol. I know it's not good to drink, but before diagnosis when I was completely oblivious to this condition I must say I did like a drink socially, but since I have been having venesections I find that even a couple of glasses of red wine I start to feel sick and my old favourites of cider or white wine are a complete no no,makes for a very upset tummy next day. I would be interested in why this has happened, I know I'm not the only one scratching my head. I don't want to be drunk on a night out but to enjoy a few drinks every now and again with friends would be nice. Most of my friends think the real me has been abducted by little green men. Maybe they are right😀🐸

They are, i think they are taking the things that were treats and making them poison. But we are here to say it... some aren't so lucky.

This is fairly simple one and works not just for alcohol but I have heard people say it about weight loss/gain as well.

Your body/organs would not be running efficient so a lot of what goes in isn't being used correctly so you then clear that out and it starts to run as it should do again so lets say before your liver was working at 70% now it's working at 100% (this is simplest way to put it in text)

The other thing with having venesection and drinking is you have lost volume of blood also other fluids/nutrients and then trying to replace them with poison the body doesn't like it the stress it goes under with this treatments you are adding to it.

this is why when you look at blood donation the rules are so strict.

If you must drink make sure you are well hydrated and do it with food also just slow it down enjoy it make a glass last with small sips (the art of drinking has been lost by so many now)
