Alcohol and sertraline

My son is taking 100mg  sertraline for about 3 months now he’s starting drinking in his room not loads like 4 cans at a time he hasn’t drank for ages im worried now what mixing the two will do how it will make him feel and will it stop the sertraline from working he’s only 21 he sais he cannot not ever have a drink

    Personally I would say no more than 4 cans...once a week should be ok...anything over that he made not be able to remember stuff he's done after than...like I say ask to consider drinking only once a week...hope this helps.

    I would not mix alcohol with Zoloft it can cause a lot of nasty side effects. I am 24 I had to give up drinking to make my life better with this amazing drug. 3 months sober now. I would not recommend it, but he is 21.

    Bigger hangover. So if he wants to do that to himself, that punishment will be plenty. Sometimes I even get headaches while I’m still drinking. But I rarely drink bee tee dubs.
