Please ,,any help or advice appreciated. I've been drinking since Friday..got script today for 10mg librium to start tomorrow morn..told i cant start now cos im drinking today..how soon can i take it? Want to b in work tommorow..if i get up early and take it round 4 or 5 will it help me..HELP please..

Two, they can react with each other, and intensify the effect, which is not good. You really should have been supervised, rather than just given that amount of Librium.
For those trying to work out what half a US gallon is, in British measurement, it is just under two one litre bottles.

There is a risk of severe respiratory problems if you mix large doses of Librium with large amounts of alcohol. DON'T!

Don't take Librium whilst drinking alcohol. As previous posts say, it's dangerous, and as RHGB mentioned, it defeats the object.
What instructions were you given by whoever prescribed the Librium? Is your detox being supervised?

Hello everyone for about a month I've been on 5mgs of klonipin & I want to wean off IMMEDIATELY can someone please help. My Dr had me on 2 mg xanax bars & I past out on the floor faced turn blue my bf had to revive me.

It all depends on how bad they are withdrawing. Google the three stages of alcohol withdrawal. I wouldn’t give them Librium until their alcohol level is minimal. You can buy the at home breathalyzer to get an estimated alcohol level, but Librium is normally started when the alcohol withdrawal reaches stage 1. Make sure they do not drink with Librium! If anything else take them to the Emergency Room where they can detox safely.
