Alcoholic chronic pancreatitis untreated

Posted , 1 user is following.

my husband was diagnosed with alcoholic acute pancreatitis in 2016, hospitalized for a week in 2017, has not stopped drinking daily and smoking cigarettes at least a pack a day

he has pancreatic cancer in his direct family, (paternal grandmother) along with breast (mother died breast cancer) and colon cancer (father died).

he has been untreated, since his hospital stay in 2017.

he thought he cracked a rib last June and the CT scan showed the head and body of his pancreas as extensively calcified with an atrophic tail.

if he continues untreated with his daily habits how long can he survive?
