Align Probiotic supplement

Posted , 1 user is following.

The next probiotic I am going to try is called Align. I had to purchase it from Amazon.

I don't think you can purchase it over here, so they shipped it from America.

It contains one billion live bacteria of the strain Bifidobacterium infantis 35624.

Apparently it was developed by Gastroenterologists.

You take one capsule a day with water, with or without food.

It can be stored at room temperature.

I have 1 months supply.

    Week One

Since taking Align, for the whole week I have definately noticed a lot more bloating.

I do hope that will subside.

My bowel movements have been a lot healthier and I am able to produce a lot more quantity in stool. It also feels a lot easier to pass.

Definately a lot more comfortable with a lot less straining.

    Week Two

Generally more constipated than usual, not really producing hardly any stool and a little bit more bloated than usual.

    Week Three

This week I have been having an upset stomach with diarrhea, so I decided to stop taking the probiotic for most of this week as I wasn't sure whether it may have been responsible for the upset.

I will try taking it again next week and see what happens!!!

    Week Four

Well I have started taking Align again. My stool does feel easier to pass.

    Slightly looser than usual.

Other than that though it is nothing to write home about.

    Week five, final week.

Well my stool evacuations are slightly easier to pass and the amount is a lot healthier.

However I have still had days where it has reverted back to constipation in a pellet like form.

Also periods of nausea and my bloating has not changed at all.

I am going to try something new.
