Alkaline vs Acidic Food (charts)

I haven't posted much over here but another issue came to mind as some folks over there were talking about this just now.

I've talked about this a lot over there and why not here....we need to get our bodies into as high an alkaline state as we can....the more acidic the more pain.

I use Fresh Lemons every day and squeeze lemons in about everything I eat and drink. I also buy a product called Body Rescue, these are alkaline drops to get our pH levels up.

Hard waters are all acidic..tap water is the worst. Chemicals and the high acid level.

There are many sites listing the Alkaline/Acidic Foods Charts and you probably would do well to check these out and see just how acidic the foods you are consuming are.

Carbs and sugars very high acid.....veggies, the greener, the better more alkaline..

Lemons when going into the body create an alkaline environment, limes too.

We can feel better but it takes some doing on our parts and thinking the drugs will do it, forget it.

    all of this makes sence ,but anything acidic going into my body is absolutly murder

    i cant tolerate any thing like lemons limes oranges, pears, even apples.. 

    fish, tomatoes , and a whole load of other stuff causes me probs.

    i have always lived in hard water areas i never drink it from the tap,

    unless its boiled, dont know if that makes any differance.

      Lemons and limes are citrus, but turn alkaline in our bodies....I even squeese some lemon in my morning coffee to cut the acid and add a smidge of baking soda as well which also cuts acidity.... I'm fine with some fruits but eat in moderation....

      kill you, that is a strong reaction.I'm almost out of fresh lemons and I get a little panicky, they help me so much....

      I don't know about you "T" but I take digestive enzymes, probiotics and DGL, stomach lining protector, for the ibuprofen I take..... Just thinkin ..

      I've never had acid reflux issues and had a tad of heartburn when I was pregnant 51 yrs ago.

      montanna cheerry jucie was suppossed natrulise and so was barley grass both after a few days gave me a really bad stomach upset

      pre biotic drinks also do the same although the new school of thought is that the these drinks are not that good for you. i dont take any pharm  drugs

      i think maybe if i had more energy i could get more excersise which would aid digestion , as  befor the fibro i was very active and never had indigestion or heart burn , except for pregnancy.
