All Aboard the Autoimmune Train

I am 50 yrs old and have been diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases/ disorders over the past 2 yrs. I have Autoimmune Hepatitis, Hashimoto, Sjogrens Syndrome and now my rheumatologist is ruling out Myasthenia Gravis ( which often comes with Temporal Vasculitis).

I do not get her opinion until another 6 weeks however my labs look like I’m negative for M.Gravis in my opinion.

I feel like I spend my life either too tired to do much but the basics or going to specialist appointments and tests.

Now I’m trying to sort out heart palpitations. I have held off on the heart stress test/ monitor ( but did the EKG). The pounding ( loud palpitations) started increasing when I started Synthroid so I’m convinced it’s the Hashimotos or the Levothyroxine. I don’t want to go for anymore tests than necessary. In a way, if it is my heart- so be it.  It might not be a bad way to go. As it stands, my quality of life leaves much to be desired.

anyone else on this train?
