My youngest 9 year old son had a rash, they told me it was an allergy, they gave me some piriton and calamine lotion . Went back a week later because it had spread all over his body, his face, in his ears,on his scalp, the poor little soul even had it on the palms of his hands and the soles of his feet he looked like a walking ribena berry!!!!!!!!!! They told me it wasn't contagious or infectious and that he could go to school and carry on as normal. NOW two weeks later my 10 year old girl and my 12 year old boy have both got the same thing, i am going back to the doctors to see what they can fob me off with this morning!!!!!!!!!!!Has any one else had this trouble with any siblings?????
Will keep you all posted!

My appetite has reduced too which I think is the only bonus of this horrible rash. I was feeling quite tired before the rash appeared but feeling ok at the moment. Mine is on my chest, stomach, neck, top of legs and shoulders but I’m only on day 7!!
I tried using antibiotics but they haven't made any difference. My doctor gave me the steroid cream today so I’m hoping that will work. I've also had a sun bed today, I’m usually really against them but I’m only going to use them when I’ve got the rash and i usually take really good care of my skin so hopefully I won't make any lasting damage. I'm also going to try the washing in head n shoulders and using bio-oil. Has anyone tried anything else that has helped? I'm willing to try anything that will make it go I don't want to look like a dot-to-dot all summer
