All signs of appendicitis, but not appendix?

I have had consistent and persistent pain in the lower part of my abdomen on the right hand side since Monday. The pain was intense, I rang 111 who recommended a trip to A&E. After a three hour wait, i was seen by a doctor who did a urine test and pressed on my stomach but no indications of appendicitis so told to go home, contact my GP for an ultrasound, to rule out other indicators. (I have suffered from bad period pain in the past, and he suggested it could be an ovarian cyst).

so i did, the appointment was today. In the meantime, the pain has never truly gone away. It varies between a light stitch, a pulled muscle and a sharp stabbing pain. By the time I saw the doctor, the pain had increased to the worst it has been all week. He was convinced it was my appendix and immediately sent me back to A&E. After bloods and an examination they've ruled out appendicitis; go back to the GP and request an ultrasound.

I'm genuinely starting to think I'm going mad and im making it up or im exaggerating.

what else could it be?
