All Symptoms of a Heart Attack but it has to be anxiety

Hey. So I've been suffering for years with anxiety.. I've been so turned away from taking medication because I grew up watching my Mother suffer addiction.

I suffer from EVERY symptom of a heart attack but have yet to have actually had one. My arms go numb and they ache, the bottom left side of my jaw hurts, my chest is pressurized and jambs at me, my vision dilates, my adrenaline pumps and I become confused, sweating, extreme fatigue and absolute terror with pain in my back. EKG's and bloodwork and pressure always comes back okay as I've cried my way to the E.R more times than I can count. I wish I were making it all up. I'm 24 years old, male and weight 200 pounds. I'm average and consider myself in good shape. I've finally broken down and have an appointment on the 20th this month. I guess I'm just posting to see opinions and discuss.

Anyone who suffers from any of this, I want you to know you're not alone.

this is more common than you know! The adrenaline that is released with anxiety causes all kinds of symptoms that mimic heart attack. Your testing was normal so you can rest assured that your heart is fine.

Many many people rushed to the ER thinking they are having a heart attack when is actually anxiety panic attack.. These symptoms when they are related to anxiety, will not hurt you! Even though it feels like they will.

When you are having a panic attack and anxiety, go to YouTube and search for something called stop panic attacks now. Then scroll down to one called don’t panic. It’s excellent and very short and it really works! MY heart rate slows , breathing controlled, symptoms subside. she guides you through it.

proper breathing is key to this control! .

i hope you will visit a counselor to find out what is causing your stress and anxiety.

    you will be OK! ❤

Thanks for the input. It relieves me to know I'm not crazy or that I'm dying. It's such an issue for me. I suppose my last question is: Can these symptoms last for hours/weeks? Just all day long I feel it in my chest.. Even when I'm laying down, not thinking or caring about anything. I've grown to cope and notice my anxiety instantly but there is literally no trigger for it. It will just happen and lasts for as long as it ever wants.

yes the symptoms can last for hours, weeks, sometimes longer, but usually not as intense.

they can Come and go as they please. However, the more you manage what is causing the anxiety, the less symptoms.

mine began in my 20s, very intense! LASTED several months before they dropped to almost none.

but if i g et stressed, they reappear, not all but a few. i now ignore them because i know they are harmless and they diminish.

They are symptoms of anxiety. To put your mind at ease, take a look at alan mandells video on you tube on how to get rid of anxiety. He describes the symptoms you are getting.
