    Hi Kim:

Me too... I was going through it for a while and still functioning but, recently it's taken it's toll and I collapsed from my hormone levels that dropped. I had the upper back pain. I had neck pain for a long time and then all that pain traveled to my right arm. I bought a copper fit compression sleeve for my arm and it's helped somewhat. Sleeping with it elevated too helps. I have been taking meno vitamins, just started a Gaba supplement for relaxation and yesterday I bought some Natures way Melissa Lemon Balm Leaf. That was recommended to me for menopause symptoms along with Bach Flowers Remedies. Walking has helped me and at first that's the last thing I wanted to do but, it really helps. Lots of rest. I can't tell you when it gets better but, I've learned not to fight it and you really have to try and lean into it and go with the flow. I can only hope eventually things will kick in. Believe me I want it over NOW. It is hell and the hardest time in my life going through this now for the past 8 months. Hope you have some support and if you don't always reach out. There is always someone here who will listen. xo

      Hi Dev:

I felt a surge drop in my head right before I collapsed. I know it was my hormones. Pretty sure my estrogen hit the floor that night. I'm 48 and sure now I was in peri long before I realized what was wrong. I started to avoid everything and than felt guilty because I was having trouble coping with each day. It was all due to severe anxiety and panic attacks that had started to kick in and got worse directly after I collapsed that same night. I just started spotting for the first time in my life between periods this week so, pretty sure I'm in the last couple years of it. They say symptoms kick up in the last couple years of Peri. I hope your ECHO goes well and hope they find out what is causing your chest pain. I didn't have that. I had all neck and right arm pain.

      AFTER

You collapse did you have blurred vision and lightheadedness for a few days? I’m still having vision problems like I need glasses or something but that started after I collapsed mine was anxiety because I had pulled my back out and was screaming of pain and then I collapsed so I wasn’t sure if there was my blood pressure I didn’t think it was hormones

Yes, dev extremely blurred vision and dizziness. I literally had to go and get new glasses fitted because my regular glasses. I could no longer use for reading or watching t.v at all. I know now that it was the severe anxiety I had. The dizziness I believe is caused all by hormones. Mine gets worse right before my monthly cycle hits. Literally several hours before I get very dizzy but, I've had the dizziness constant since hitting peri. With time now 8 months I still have anxiety but, my vision has cleared up. I still have some dizziness which I believe is still causing my anxiety. I just started using this Natures Way Melissa Lemon Balm Leaf. People recommend for anxiety. I have felt relief from this in the past 2 days I'm using it for both dizziness and anxiety. I have both capsules and drops. I was advised the drops work the fastest. It's worth a try. The drops are like 12 dollars and the capsules around 8 or 9. I picked them up from a health food store.

Mine really took months for it to clear up but, I wasn't really taking anything that was helping to clear that up for a while because at first I didn't know what was happening to me. I though my eyes were going! Elevated estrogen levels can cause it. The anxiety and dizziness comes along with that. The last 2 months I've really been self medicating with everything otc. Not everything I've tried has worked but, I've been on a GNC meno vitapak for 3 weeks and I feel that has helped. I'm not having really severe anxiety and panic attacks anymore. Honestly within just the past 3 days of trying this Melissa Lemon Balm Leaf. It's the most noticeable relief I've had with my anxiety hands down. Everyone is different but, really really worth a try. A good probiotic too. I was told that they really help during these times. Make sure your getting good sleep so, your body can rest and heal. Hang in there dev!!!!
